We support clients with a wide range of medical needs including post-stroke, traumatic brain injury, paraplegia, quadriplegia, amputations, tracheostomies, dementia, orthopedic fractures, general deconditioning, IV medication, feeding tube, and in-air oxygen support. We work closely with caregivers, case managers, and care homes to provide safe, reliable, medically aware travel from start to finish.

Michael Malaczewski, dpt

Michael Malaczewski, DPT, is a licensed Physical Therapist and certified CPR instructor with years of hands-on clinical experience supporting patients with mobility and medical needs. With a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and extensive training in safe patient handling, medical readiness, and emergency response, Michael founded the company to make both local and global travel more accessible for individuals requiring non-emergency medical support.

His medical background, calm professionalism, and commitment to dignified care shape every service we provide, whether assisting clients traveling within Hawaiʻi or coordinating transport across the world.

"My Dad was medevaced from Kauai to Oahu. His condition continually declined after his discharge to 2 separate "Rehab" facilities there and he ended up back in the Queens ER. I needed to bring him home for proper care , and assumed that chartering a medevac was my only option due to his now frail condition. Queens gave me Mike's contact info. 1 phone call was all it took. Once he was medically cleared to fly Mike worked with the also amazing Queens team. Jeff stopped by to see Dad Friday afternoon and reassured me that he would get him home safe and sound. I was given a minute by minute itinerary by Mike that evening. Jeff picked Dad up at 7:30 the very next morning and he got him into his own bed on Kauai before noon! Mike was on point yet compassionate during a very tough time for my Dad and our family. Jeff, Jeff is the Man! You would have thought he was bringing his own Dad home. Dad was smiling the whole trip home. This team and company are amazing. People need to know that there is an amazing option for medical travel between our Islands and the world. "My nearly 90 year old mother had a bad fall and was medivaced from Hilo to Queens Hospital on Oahu. Once she was medically able, we needed to transport her back to Hilo where all of her family and friends are. She had extensive injuries and was not able to walk. MM Medical Transport were amazing from the first meeting, all through the process of getting her home. Unfortunately there was a last minute delay in her release and it delayed her getting transferred by a week. All the scheduling would need to be postponed. They were so understanding and genuinely concerned about her well being. When she was finally medically cleared they got the travel plans rebooked, and everything went very smoothly. I have had the most amazing experience with Mike and his company. I am a stroke survivor and I am still healing. I am the only person to care for my mom. I was worried how I was going to be able to travel and bring my mom back home. I was referred to Mike and he took the stress and weight off of my shoulders and assisted me every step of the way with bringing my mom home to the Big Island from Maui. His nursing staff were also very loving and took very good care of my mom from the time they reached the hospital on Maui to the time they got her into the car on the Big Island. Nobody likes to end their vacation needing medical assistance to get home. But, if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation as we did, I highly recommend Mike and his company! From start to finish, he made our travel so much easier by arranging for all of our transportation arrangements: Transportation to the airport, plane tickets, transport from the airport to a rehab facility. Not only did Mike have to lift my husband from place to place, but he went above and beyond by using his PT training to get my husband’s muscles moving and repositioning his body throughout our travel, making sure to keep an eye on his vitals, and caring enough to look after my well being too. He is highly skilled and trained. He was very professional yet compassionate in his treatment of my husband and I. After 24 days in the hospital in Maui, because of Mike, we were able to return home to California! I can’t thank him enough!
